Frequently Asked Questions. Give Travel is a new service, and here we try to answer the common questions you may have about us.

If you could see the world, where would you go...
...and what would you see? The Grand Canyon? The far East? The Southern Cross?

Share the world.

Make a wish list, make it easy...
Choose ten of the top places in the world you would like to "see before you die" and give copies of it to the ones who will be giving the travel.

What date will this new service be available?
At the present moment, we are developing this new technology, and we need to test it and validate it before making available to the world at large. If all things go according to schedule, the site will begin operation in time for Christmas of 2007.

What kinds of restrictions will be placed upon travel given?
The only foreseeable problems is that under certain conditions availability may become a factor. That is, if the hotel is already full, you will not be able to use your travel gift. But you would not have been able to use it under those conditions with a direct purchase either. We do not expect there to be black out dates, but this may vary with airline or other travel service provider.

To redeem travel, you will go to Give Travel dot com. You will make your selection, and apply your travel gift at the time reservations are made.

Your gift of travel will be sent via a secure e-mail letter that will be validated by you before it can be redeemed by anyone.

Initially we anticipate the Give Travel capability to be for hotels, resorts, and other accommodations, and then later for other travel components like cruises, air, and car rentals.

No. If you receive a travel gift, you are not eligible to "cash in" your travel gift. This is to be in compliance with the Patriot Act and other laws governing homeland security.

Purchases made through Give Travel dot com are nonrefundable to anyone but the original purchaser. All cancellations will be subject to fees and penalties as would any other cancellation. Travel insurance is always recommended.
